Orchard Cottage Dental Surgery welcomes Dr Susie Lauder to the practice. After qualifying from Dental School, Susie worked in a Guildford Dental Practice as an associate Dentist.

We are thrilled to also introduce our trainee nurse Abigail Long.

Prevention is better than cure and protecting your teeth minimizes the amount of dental treatment you need.

To help us we place great emphasis on teamwork with our hygienist. Our prevention program will include advice on a diet and healthy eating. Smokers will be encouraged to understand the detrimental effects of smoking on oral health and advised to stop or at least reduce.

Dental treatment for adults is carried out privately at this practice.  However children under 18, or under 19 and in full-time education and exempt patients receive free treatment on the NHS as we have NHS funding at Orchard Cottage Dental Surgery.

Emergency

Should you have a dental emergency during practice hours please call 01372 363670 and we will endeavour to see you within 24 hours. You may not see your usual dentist but we will aim to deal with the immediate problem. Should you have a dental emergency outside of practice hours, please call the Out of Hours Service on 111.

  • Please call to inform us if you are delayed or need to cancel an appointment.

  • Please give us your views. We hope for your recommendations as that is our finest compliment. We have systems for dealing promptly with patient’s complaints. Contact Us

Our Dental Receptionists are available by phone or in person throughout the session to help you with any queries relating to your care and treatment, to arrange appointments or to help with administration. We encourage you to visit the practice regularly and book your next appointment before you leave. If you are unable to keep an appointment please give us as much notice as possible. We endeavour to fill the appointment slot however if we are unable to, we may make a charge if you do not give 48 hours notice.

Please call 01372 363670 to speak to a member of staff or leave a message with your contact details and we will return your call as soon as possible. 

Before and After Your Appointment

To ensure you receive the best possible care, our practice may email to give you a friendly reminder about your upcoming appointment. This reminder serves to confirm your availability and make any necessary adjustments to your schedule. We value your time and look forward to seeing you.

We also encourage you to put your appointment in your diary upon making an appointment, so as to not rely on our reminder.

After your appointment, we welcome your feedback. This helps us to continue excelling while also improving our services.
